The Italian Kitchen is a small restaurant which sits on Bridgeland Street in Bideford. It has drawn lots of positive reviews from locals and tourists in the area.
We were seated in the back half of the restaurant, and the surroundings were lovely. The furniture and decor made it seem like a rustic Italian garden. On one wall there are blackboards which detail the background of the restaurant, and that all their ingredients are sourced from Italy.
The menu is fairly simple; split between Pizza and Not Pizza dishes. We opted for the special Campagnola pizza and the lasagne.
All of the dishes are made using only the wood fired oven, which makes it different to the usual Italian restaurants. The food tasted great – nice and fresh – and the flavours were wonderful. To add, friendly service and reasonable pricing make The Italian Kitchen somewhere to visit if you are in the area!
