This is the last of My Little Box reviews for the moment as I am taking a break from my subscription. This month’s theme is gypset; all things bohemian and free.
The first item is this small bucket bag, something which is currently trending, designed by Antik Batik.
Next are some hair ties which double up as bracelets.
Also included are the fold out magazine and the Kanako illustrated print.
Inside the beauty bag, we have some bronzing powder from the My Little Beauty range…
…and the Colour Hybrid from So Susan. This can be used to bring colour to your cheeks or bringing a perfect pout for your lips.
The final item is this body milk form Korres. Keeping the skin moisturised and healthy through its combination of almond oil, aloe vera and shea butter, its fragrance of pear and lemon is lovely and light – perfect for the summer!
I have mixed feelings about this month’s box. I quite like the variety of the items in the beauty bag, but I feel a little disappointed with the lifestyle items. This month, only two items were included – and one of them was hair ties! For the price of the subscription, this seems like poor value. I am not enamoured with the bag either – the print isn’t very appealing and the bag is made of a very thin material. It’s a shame considering how great the last few boxes are. Looking at reviews online, many subscribers are unhappy with the magazine format, preferring the glossy magazine style to the foldout style. It is puzzling that although many people have expressed this view, My Little Box have not taken steps to change this (the French version use the glossy magazine style).
